Wind Wand

Inspired by Mark Mangini's innovative approach to designing the ornithopter wing sounds in Dune, this handcrafted Wind Wand captures the tonal resonance that first captivated me. Made from carefully selected wood and elastic bands, it creates a rhythmic fluttering that’s both organic and versatile. 

Its sound, rich in texture and tone, lends itself to countless creative possibilities, from atmospheric soundscapes to percussive layers. Drawing on 10 years of carpentry and engineering expertise and 15 years of musical innovation, I crafted this instrument to bring a unique auditory dimension to any project. The Wind Wand is a true fusion of inspiration and precision.
